I Received Broken EggsUpdated 2 months ago

Cracked or Broken Eggs?

If you received cracked or broken eggs, please read this page before starting a refund request.

Cracked vs. Broken — What’s the Difference?

  • Cracked (membrane intact): If an egg is cracked but the inner membrane has not been punctured, it is still safe to consume. Because the egg is not spoiled or unsafe, we do not provide credits for cracked eggs.
We apologize for the inconvenience and use this feedback to keep improving our shipping materials and processes.
  • Broken (membrane punctured): If the inner membrane is compromised and the egg cannot be safely eaten, we will credit your account for each broken egg.

Refunds & Store Credit

  • $2 store credit per broken egg (broken = membrane punctured).
  • No credits for cracked-but-safe eggs (membrane intact).
  • If you received more than 4 broken eggs, please contact us directly instead of using self-service.
